We re recruiting on behalf of a warm and supportive Residential Children s Home in Ashbourne, seeking a dedicated Waking Nights Support Worker to join their close-knit team. You ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and emotional well-being of the children during night hours.

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Providing overnight care, ensuring safety and emotional well-being

  • Supporting children with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified way

  • Encouraging independence and involvement in daily routines

  • Creating a nurturing environment and building positive relationships

  • Working closely with other professionals, families, and your team

  • Keeping accurate records and promoting safeguarding at all times

What We re Looking For:

  • Experience in care (especially with children or learning disabilities) is desirable

  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) is a bonus

  • Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Full UK driving licence with business insurance required

  • Flexible to work waking night shifts, weekends & holidays
