HYBRID WORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER / PROCUREMENT MANAGER (IDEALLY CIPS OR DEGREE QUALIFIED), PURCHASING AND MANAGING SUPPLIERS IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR TITLE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling SALARY: Circa £50K DOE Car or Car Allowance & Benefits LOCATION: Mainly Home based with national travel (ideally you will be along / around / within, M1, M4, M5, M6, M62 or A1) PREVIOUS ROLES: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Waste Broker, Supplier Manager YOU MAY HAVE PROCURED SERVICES INCLUDING: Recycling, Total Waste Management, Hygiene, Washroom Services, Facilities Management, Waste Brokerage, Hard Services, Soft Services, Clinical Waste. ROLE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling Manage existing waste service providers, monitor their performance and ensure their pricing is competitive, ensure said suppliers are compliant Sourcing new suppliers and negotiate pricing Oversee subcontractors’ Implementation and delivery on new services and contracts EXPERIENCE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling You will ideally hold a qualification such as CIPS level 3 or higher or a degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management You will manage subcontracted services You will have a background in procuring services as part of your role Any experience in the Waste Management & Recycling Sector would be an advantage, but not essential You will have a UK Driving Licence PREVIOUS ROLES: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Waste Broker, Supplier Manager YOU MAY HAVE PROCURED SERVICES INCLUDING: Recycling, Total Waste Management, Hygiene, Washroom Services, Facilities Management, Waste Brokerage, Hard Services, Soft Services, Clinical Waste
