Alma Personnel have been tasked with recruiting for a Service Engineer with solar knowledge and excellent electrical experience working from their clients base in the Loughborough area. This position will be working both from the office and field based.
- Good knowledge of mechanics and mechanical fitting
- Experience working with single cylinder diesel generators would be beneficial as hybrid units have a backup generator
- Working knowledge of electrical/electronic wiring
- Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electronic backgrounds
- Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
- Basic IT skills a must, use of laptop and tablet and diagnostic software
- Previous experience within maintenance or plant machinery background desirable
- Conversant with the safe use of various hand-held equipment and tools
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- High levels of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as both part of a team, and alone on customers' sites
- UK Driving License with ability to tow and reverse units
- Willing to work in all weathers!
