Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist- EMEA Location: Shoreditch, London (hybrid working, 1-2 days a week in the office) Days/Hours: Monday β Friday 9am-5pm Start Date: End of July 2025 Pay: Β£26 β Β£32 per hour Duration: 12 months Temporary Contract, with a potential temp-to-perm opportunity About the Role Our client is a global leader in the telecommunications and networking industry. As an Employee Relations (ER) specialist, you\βll play a critical role in supporting our people across the EMEA region. From advising on complex employee cases to driving HR process improvements, you\βll help create a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Your work will directly impact employee experience, HR efficiency, and organisational success. Your Key Responsibilities The first point of contact for employees and managers seeking guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and annual programs. Working closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), to provide expert support on performance issues, grievances, disciplinary actions, and other ER cases, always ensuring alignment with regional labour laws and company policies. Provide clear, practical advice to help them navigate day-to-day challenges. Respond to EMEA employment law queries through a ticketing system and live support, ensuring accurate, timely, and legally sound advice. Collaborate with legal teams on performance management, restructuring, and compliance matters. Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and serve as the HR representative in Works Council meetings in France and Germany, helping shape a better employee experience through collaboration and insight. Conduct exit interviews, identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement to help us retain top talent and continuously evolve our culture. Help ensure smooth payroll operations and maintain accurate records in line with GDPR. Beyond day-to-day support, you\βll lead or contribute to regional and global HR projects aimed at enhancing the \βpeople promise.\β You\βll promote self-service tools for employees and managers, regularly update HR content, and look for ways to automate and simplify processes.What You Bring Strong experience in employee relations and understanding of EMEA employment law. Proficient in HR Systems, ideally Workday. Excellent judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters. Detail-focused and committed to accuracy. Able to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently. Service-minded, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
