Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Leicester, Glenfield Pay rate: £12.21 Shift: 8:30am to 5pm Type: Temp – Perm We are hiring for a Warehouse Operatives to undertake general warehouse duties in Leicester. This is a friendly warehouse team that handle high volume of customer orders and you will be an important part of this team helping to make sure that orders will be completed on time. Duties of a Warehouse Operative You will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for: Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items. Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling. Stacking and wrapping pallets. Sorting parcels and organising items efficiently. Unloading trailers and ensuring items are stored correctly. Adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Cleaning and tidying the workspace as required to maintain a safe environment. Skills and Experience of a Warehouse Operative As a Warehouse Operative: Prior experience is preferred, it would be beneficial. You should have a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.
