Futures are supporting a large client source a Competency Centre Lead who will drive the SAP roadmap, manage a large team, and ensure the seamless operation of SAP systems across the organisation. The Competency Centre Lead will focus on SAP S/4HANA and the Business Technology Platform (BTP), aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. Competency Centre Lead – Key Responsibilities S/4HANA, SAP: Lead and manage a large team of SAP professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Define and support team growth plans, overseeing accountability and skills development. Expand the SAP Competency Centre to support future SAP landscape growth. Develop and communicate a compelling vision for SAP, presenting it to stakeholders, including the SAP team and executives. Oversee third-party supplier management, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver high-quality services. Manage SAP licensing, ensuring compliance and optimizing usage to reduce costs. Scope and define new SAP programs, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver value. Lead SAP project implementation, coordinating across technical teams and business areas. Take full ownership of SAP Business-As-Usual (BAU), ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement. Implement best practices for SAP change management and smooth transitions from projects to BAU. Competency Centre Lead – Requirements – S/4HANA, SAP: Extensive experience managing SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules. Strong understanding of SAP licensing and vendor management. Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
