About the Role: Innotech Partners are recruiting for a leading company in the Power generation and renewable energy sector to hire a CHP Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and adaptable professional to manage full turnkey CHP projects from ordering through installation, commissioning, and handover. The successful candidate will be based in Northwest England, with regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of CHP projects including ordering, installation, client liaison, commissioning, and handover
- Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, designers, manufacturers, and aftercare teams
- Oversee installation of various generator types, including own products plus Jenbacher, MTU, and others (20KW- 2.5MW)
- Ensure smooth project delivery across multiple sites
- Occasionally travel and stay overnight for site visits or client meetings
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction
Candidate Requirements:
- Background in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experienced within the standby generator sector (20KW- 2.5MW)
- Strong technical skills and experience managing turnkey projects
- Open-minded, willing to learn, and hands-on approach - no 'that's not my job' attitude
- Experience liaising with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams
- PLC knowledge is a plus but not essential
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing project requirements
- Comfortable with occasional travel and overnight stays
