Are you an HGV Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) to join our Ipswich depot for night trunking to our pallet network hubs, Monday to Friday.

About the role:
All Class 1 HGV Drivers (Nights) are responsible for operating their vehicles efficiently for fuel and equipment, supervising loading and unloading, securing loads, and ensuring safety and security. You will represent the company in interactions with clients and the public. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday with a minimum of a 9-hour night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Submit daily vehicle checks, noting any defects, and ensuring safe and legal operation
- Comply with all legal and company regulations
- Provide clear proof of delivery (POD) for each consignment
- Communicate any issues or accidents professionally with the traffic office
About you:
You will hold a full UK driving licence with Category C+E (formerly Class 1) entitlement and a valid CPC. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as we offer a comprehensive induction. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and vehicle maintenance are required. An ADR Licence is desirable but not essential.
