Senior Quantity Surveyor

ACR are working with a leading Developer based in Essex/Hertfordshire who are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong JCT contract knowledge and experience working for both a House Builder and Main Contractor due to the mixed pipeline of work they have coming up. Duties include: * Advise on specification and technical relating to commercial matters * Attend Pre-development, Pre-start, Post contract, Design and Project Team meetings as required. * Prepare and chair meetings including but not limited to Subcontract and Project Coordination meetings * Ensure procurement of subcontractors and materials to programme and budget * Ensure subcontractors are approved in accordance with procedures * Monitor production of information and advises on financial feasibility of design * Monthly production of CostCo * Familiar with contract documentation to ensure a working knowledge * Management and development of trainee and assistant members of the commercial team Benefits include: * A company vehicle or car allowance with fuel card * Accelerating Achievement Scheme * Company pension (employer contribution up to 10%) increasing with length of service * Private healthcare * 22 days holidays plus bank holidays and usually 2 weeks at Christmas * Life Insurance – 4x salary * Income Protection * Discretionary Annual Bonus * Fully equipped gym at head office * Enhanced Maternity, Paternity Pay For more information, please get in touch with Maisie at ACR
