We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Structural Steel Site Manager to join our expanding team, playing a key role in managing on-site operations across various projects in the South of England.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of site operations. You’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company where your expertise and leadership will have a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee between 5-10 live sites and manage site teams (15-20 staff) effectively
- Maintain strict health and safety standards on-site
- Liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
- Keep thorough records and documentation for all site activities
- Manage both in-house and subcontractor installation crews
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in structural steel projects
- Previous exposure to refurbishment works is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and ideally First Aid certificate
- Lifting operations experience and qualifications would be a strong advantage
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
