Project: Phase 1 – 130 Residential Units (RC Frame)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to join our clients team on a residential development in Barbican, comprising 130 RC frame units. As the Senior Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for Gateway 2 applications, managing the design development process, and coordinating a range of complex external envelope packages through detailed design to delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination of Gateway 2 design submissions ensuring compliance with all building safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate external consultants and specialist subcontractors across the following packages:
- Facades
- Windows & Glazing Systems
- Brickwork & Masonry Support
- SFS (Steel Framing Systems)
- Metalwork Interfaces
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of technical coordination experience within residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of RC frame and high-rise residential construction.
- Demonstrable experience managing external envelope packages from design through to installation.
- Familiarity with Gateway 2 requirements under the Building Safety Act.
- Experience working with tier one developers or main contractors.
