Temporary Clerk Of Works/Site Manager

Kenton Black are recruiting for a clerk of works/site manager in Aberdeen on a temporary basis. The client is an established construction firm based in Aberdeen with deep roots within the city and shire. For this role, you will oversee construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, complies with regulations, and meets the clients requirements. The role involves liaising with contractors, inspecting work quality, and ensuring adherence to project specifications. Roles/responsibilities listed below: – You will be responsible for Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. – Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards, and contractual agreements. – Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken. – Maintain accurate records of site visits, inspections, and contractor performance. – Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors. – Provide technical advice and recommendations to ensure best practices. – Ensure materials used meet required specifications and standards. – Report on project progress and highlight any issues or delays. To obtain this temporary role, you will be required to have worked within a clerk of works/small works site manager role previously and have previous references from this time. You will also have a CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid Qualification.
