We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assembly Technician to join the Operations team in Bolton. The role involves re-assembling doors and related products using stocked hardware and custom components, ensuring a high-quality finish for final delivery to the end user.
Key Responsibilities- Re-assemble doors and products using stock parts, insulation materials, and drawings
- Fit custom components using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Finish products to meet delivery quality standards
- Complete documentation in accordance with project requirements
- Assist with manual handling and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Carry out additional duties as required by supervisors
- Experience using small hand tools and measuring equipment
- Good time management and ability to work independently
- Adherence to health and safety standards
- Ability to follow assembly instructions, SOPs, and general drawings
- Team-focused with a reliable, proactive approach
- Experience in steel door manufacturing or a similar environment
- Working knowledge of door hardware and locking systems
- Awareness of continuous improvement methods
- Valid FLT licence
