Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a leading mechanical services contractor who is looking to expand their growing service division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Plumber who is looking to take the next step in their career, with structured training and support to progress into a multi-skilled Service Engineer role — including Air Conditioning (A/C) servicing and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs on domestic and/or commercial systems
- Fault-find and diagnose issues across plumbing systems
- Deliver excellent customer service across a variety of sites
- Support junior engineers and contribute to a positive team culture
- Undergo full training in A/C systems and obtain relevant certifications
- Assist in the development of service processes as the department grows
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial plumbing
- Desire to upskill into A/C and general service engineering
- Strong communication and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- F-Gas certification (desirable – training provided for the right candidate)
