An exciting position for an experienced Stock Control/Goods In operative has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years, and it operates in both the UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and, due to business demands, are now recruiting for an experienced professional.
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week (Monday-Friday office hours)
Salary: Competitive

Overview of the Role: To manage all materials and consumables goods inwards inspection, ensuring that goods are of the right quality and match the material specifications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Inspection of goods received to ensure all products are compliant with delivery notes
- Review supplier delivery notes to ensure the mandatory information is detailed, to support the efficient identification and booking in of parts
- Conduct physical and dimensional checks of individual components against technical drawings
- Inspection and signing of all subcontracted machined parts
- Record and report the outcome of quality inspections within the agreed time
- Goods in booking activities on the in-house ERP system
- Issue parts to internal departments when required
- To load outbound deliveries as and when required
- Other duties as assigned by your Line Manager.
Suitable Candidate:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a stock control position
- The suitable candidate will need to have experience using an ERP system with the goods in/out process
- Previous warehouse with goods in and goods out experience
- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked within international warehouses or have experience in the retail design industry, or similar
