People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rushden, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:
- Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday: £24.00 per hour
- *Guaranteed ten hours per day*
Day to Day Duties:
- Collecting trailers of food waste from RDC's
- Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Ensure that all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving walking floor or bulk tippers beneficial but not essential
Training:
- Drivers partnered up for one week to train and learn the role
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
