A national freight company is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join its busy network of depots across London and the South East of England.

The Role

  • Primarily trunking, you will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently from depot to depot.

Responsibilities

  • Transport loads to designated depot locations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant commercial driving regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate delivery records
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Pay and Shift Patterns

  • £22.00 to £23.00 per hour
  • AM and PM starts available
  • 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Day and weekends available

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid CE commercial driving license, CPC card and Tachocard
  • Proven 2 years plus commercial experience as a CE driver
  • Less than 10 infringements in the last 12 months
  • No more than 6 points or major endorsements/convictions
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
