As a result of our client expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Logistics Administrator to be based at an expanding Head Office in Plymouth. The Logistics Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting a logistics analyst with the day-to-day running of the department through maintaining systems, communicating with suppliers and updating product/store records.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inputting and updating data accurately in various systems.
- Placing supplier orders.
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain relevant information.
- Review supplier performance and highlight any issues to the Logistics Team Leader.
- Maintain and create suitable ordering schedules.
- Supporting the team with overflow workload.
- Review daily reporting and take appropriate actions.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages is essential, primarily Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
- Logical thinker.
- Previous experience in an analytical, data-led role desirable.
- Ability to interpret data and act based on that interpretation.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload.
