SF Recruitment are working with a leading global services business based in Warwickshire to recruit an interim Procurement Specialist. Hybrid, flexible working policy. Part of a large procurement team who oversee a diverse range of categories, covering a national remit. To support the Procurement Manager in delivering a timely and cost effective procurement strategy and expertise to stakeholders across the business portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of commercial sourcing strategies of various indirect expenditure delivering Value For Money and cost reduction.
- Lead sourcing activities for business and clients ensuring due diligence and compliance to process.
- Review and negotiate Contract terms and documents managing approval through to signatory.
- Support internal stakeholders with key supplier performance reviews to help build business capability.
- Work with suitable cost evaluation tools to support Finance.
- Input to supplier disputes providing advice and possible solutions.
- Manage effective procurement change.
Skillset Requirements:
- Previous experience of GNFR/Indirect sourcing and the processes required to deliver it.
- Negotiation skills.
- Understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions covering legal and commercial risk.
- Collaborative, personable, communicator.
- Planning, organising and time management skills - able to balance their own priorities and work to deadlines in addition to leading projects.
