Senior Technologist job in Manchester with a salary up to £55,000, bi-annual performance bonus, hybrid working and flexitime. This is a great opportunity to join a Manchester-based, employee-owned architectural practice that prioritises work-life balance and ongoing professional development.
The team is growing, and they are now looking for a technically strong individual to take the lead on a range of projects across the technical stages across Retail and Industrial Projects. You will join a collaborative and supportive studio of 100+ design professionals in the city centre, with access to structured mentoring, internal CPD, and genuine opportunities for progression through quarterly reviews.
Role & Responsibilities- Lead the coordination and technical delivery of projects through RIBA Stages 3-6
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including planning, tender, and construction packages
- Ensure projects are compliant with UK Building Regs, CDM, and statutory requirements
- Contribute to design team meetings and act as a key point of contact for clients and contractors
- Review technical information and assist in resolving construction queries
- Mentor and support junior team members across multiple live projects.
- 5+ years' post-qualification experience in a UK practice
- Strong detailing and technical design experience, with project delivery responsibility
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with an understanding of BIM processes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and team leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning frameworks.
- Salary up to £55,000 (DOE)
