The company is seeking a diligent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the maintenance team at their site in Burntwood. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of machinery output and product quality within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The Role:
- Conducting planned and preventative maintenance to support continuous machinery operation
- Swiftly diagnosing and repairing equipment faults to reduce downtime
- Installing new equipment and identifying necessary parts for replacements and repairs
- Diligently maintaining records and inputting data into the CMMS system
- Upholding all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure compliance and high-quality standards
- Collaborating with supervisors to manage workload and responding to out of hours calls as needed
- Managing external contractors and issuing permits to work to maintain safety on site
- Driving continuous improvement activities within the maintenance domain
The Candidate:
- An apprenticeship in an engineering discipline and a formal engineering qualification, such as ONC
- 17th Edition is a must.
- Proficiency in at least two engineering disciplines with a strong track record in electrical fault diagnosis
The Package:
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will enjoy an annual salary of £33,000 - £34,000. The role is based on a 37-hour work week, ensuring a balanced approach to professional and personal life, working 06:00 - 15:00 Monday - Thursday and 07:00 - 16:00 Friday. You will be entitled to an annual bonus, as well as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This business also offers a pension scheme, free car parking and a stable position with very low turnover of staff.
