I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their FI & Casualty division. My client is looking for a Claims professional with strong experience in FI and Cyber primarily, also covering PI and other Casualty related lines (Medical Malpractice, Excess Casualty & more). This will be covering worldwide jurisdictions including the US and they are also open to someone at a more junior level too. Will be a mixture of open market and binders business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of claims within the Casualty Claims division, including:
- Evaluating coverage and assessing quantum for individual claims within your designated authority, and referring cases exceeding this threshold to the Head of Casualty Claims.
- Reviewing bordereaux for approval and facilitating their processing.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Claims colleagues, Underwriters, and senior management.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders including brokers, adjusters, legal counsel, and TPAs.
- Ensuring timely reserving and accurate reporting of claims.
- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Represent the company at external client and broker meetings as required.
- Participate in industry networking events when appropriate.
- Provide support with operational and administrative tasks as needed.
