A well-established HVAC contractor is looking for a mobile Air-conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team, covering a local patch to Ringwood, Hampshire and Dorset. Our client has an excellent approach to looking after their employees. You will have access to a modern, state of the art office with exceptional facilities, a new company vehicle & tools, door to door pay and much more.

As an Air-conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the pre-planned and reactive maintenance on a range of interesting commercial properties across education, healthcare, heritage, and commercial and industrial spaces.

Air-conditioning Engineer Duties:

  • Meeting with existing customers onsite to undertake maintenance/service to previously installed air conditioning units.
  • Complete reactive visits, including fault find, diagnosis, isolate and repair.
  • Deliver remedial works and other small projects.
  • Update, renew and correct asset lists to ensure that the correct contract is kept up to date.
  • Complete assigned service and maintenance list of inspections to a high standard.
  • Ensure all company requirements in relation to paperwork, time sheets, activity sheets and vehicle checks are adhered to and completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Air-conditioning Engineer Specification:

  • NVQ Level 2, along with FGAS Category 1.
  • Health and safety qualifications such as PASMA and IPAF are advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to technically problem solve.
  • Ability to work and liaise with the other end user client.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.

Air-conditioning Engineer Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £45,000 basic salary + Door to door pay.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (33 in total).
  • Company vehicle.
  • Double Time on Saturdays.
  • On-call payment and overtime rates for callout.
  • Private medical insurance (following successful completion of probationary period).
  • Healthcare.
