FINTEC recruit is seeking a Project Engineer for our engineering client based in Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent position working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Salary is £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience plus some great additional benefits e.g. private medical & dental/critical illness, contributory pension & more.

If you have a fabrication/engineering background and enjoy building relationships, this is the ideal role for you, where you will be the key contact for project liaison with company clients & internal stakeholders within engineering and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that fabrication, vessel, and offshore scopes run smoothly and efficiently;
  • Assisting with project documentation preparation and reports;
  • Overseeing planning, interpreting fabrication drawings;
  • Monitoring progress and providing regular updates;
  • Meeting timelines while ensuring quality and safety standards are met;
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams for project success;
  • Identifying and resolving any technical issues effectively, while maintaining a focus on quality & on-time delivery to meet client expectations.
Skills and Experience required for the Project Engineer role:
  • Have a proven experience in working in fabrication or a manufacturing environment;
  • Able to read & interpret fabrication and technical drawings;
  • Highly organised in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Good IT skills.
