Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for keeping vital utilities running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing setting? We are currently seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our engineering team at a leading food manufacturing facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of key site utilities, including compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot site utilities equipment (compressors, pumps, chillers, boilers, HVAC, ammonia systems, etc.)
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Support engineering improvements and efficiency projects
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to minimise downtime
About You:
- Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled)
- Proven experience in a similar role within food manufacturing or a regulated production environment
- Strong working knowledge of compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems (ammonia handling certification is a plus)
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights
