We are currently seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our engineering team at a leading food manufacturing facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of key site utilities, including compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot site utilities equipment (compressors, pumps, chillers, boilers, HVAC, ammonia systems, etc.)
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Support engineering improvements and efficiency projects
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to minimise downtime

About You:

  • Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within food manufacturing or a regulated production environment
  • Strong working knowledge of compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems (ammonia handling certification is a plus)
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights
