A confidential and highly regarded joint venture in the water sector is seeking a skilled Proposals Engineer to join their expanding delivery team. This organisation is responsible for a major programme of works for a regional water utility provider, delivering essential infrastructure to maintain and enhance water supply and wastewater treatment facilities across Kent and Sussex.
This is a key opportunity for an experienced proposals or project professional to contribute to the development and delivery of high-profile Design & Build projects in a collaborative, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure timely input on constructability from relevant delivery partners
- Collaborate with the Regional Construction Lead to secure and deploy appropriate resources across projects
- Oversee project scope, schedule, financials, risks, quality, and resources within defined tolerances
- Ensure robust adherence to health, safety, and wellbeing procedures, meeting or exceeding regulatory standards
- Engage effectively with stakeholders in line with the overarching communication strategy, ensuring requirements such as permits and consents are met
- Degree in Civil Engineering or an HND in Civil Engineering with associated vocational training
- Significant experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent on multidisciplinary Design & Build projects
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills
- Strong technical background in both civils and MEICA works
- Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and related legal frameworks
- Deep knowledge of current construction techniques and best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and Primavera scheduling software
- Valid CSCS Card
- Demonstrated training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
