We are working with a well-established, privately owned lubricant manufacturer based in the Cheltenham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, to reignite lapsed accounts, and maximise business development opportunities to build their own portfolio of accounts by proactively sourcing new customers and upselling with existing accounts. You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team where you can work autonomously, and where your efforts will be seen, appreciated, and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:- Building & nurturing relationships with customers
- Reconnecting with lapsed clients to bring them back on board
- Researching the market for new sales leads
- Handling day-to-day customer enquiries, providing quotations and processing orders
- Spotting upsell opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Working closely with production and logistics to ensure smooth delivery
- Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions through the CRM
- Experience of internal sales or customer service, ideally selling into industrial sectors
- A self-starter with a warm phone manner, excellent customer support skills, a genuine commercial instinct and a proactive approach to researching the market
