Hays have partnered with a well-respected global bank to appoint a skilled Murex Front Office Business Analyst/Configurator to an initial 6-month contract. Your core role will revolve around supporting changes and enhancements within the Front Office domain, ensuring efficient trade execution, pricing, and risk management. This role requires deep expertise in Murex, front office operations, and strong analytical and configuration skills. Hybrid working: 3 days a week in office. Rate: up to £750pd inside IR35 via umbrella. Duration: 3 days a week in their London-based office.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Murex for front office functionalities; implement and support changes related to trade execution, pricing, and risk management requirements, ensuring the system is optimised for performance and stability.
- Support the implementation of regulatory changes affecting front office operations, ensuring all configurations and processes comply with financial regulatory standards.
- Refine business requirements from front office stakeholders, translate business requirements into functional specifications for Murex, and conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure changes meet business requirements, perform system testing, integration testing and UAT, and identify and resolve defects during the testing phase.
- Work closely with front office, IT teams and external vendors, as well as offer training for end-users and manage communication and expectations across a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
