Our client is a national FM Service Provider who are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor / Manager to lead the team of electrical engineers working on a Hospital in Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

The role of Electrical Supervisor / Manager includes:

  • Performing ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conducting routine maintenance inspections, diagnosing potential problems, and making repairs.
  • Assisting with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Assigning work orders and estimating the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Supporting energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspecting new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Leading by example and modelling behaviours that are consistent with values.
  • Impacting the quality of own work.
  • Working within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.

The person specification includes:

  • Electrical technical qualifications with proven supervisory/management experience.
  • Meeting the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analysing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
