Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with our financial services client as they look to recruit a talented Service Delivery Manager. Our client provides a range of outsourced investment services to private banks, advisory businesses, and wealth managers and have offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. This is a new role within our client’s structure to fill critical gaps and own system health across their platforms. The successful applicant will combine incident management, system reliability engineering and stakeholder engagement to ensure our clients services are reliable, performant, and continually improving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure performance and scalability of systems through proactive monitoring and automation
- Optimise system performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks
- Monitor performance against SLAs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Take control of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution teams, and ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders
- Oversee timely application of patches to systems and software to ensure security and stability
- Manage IT-related contracts
Key Skills:
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Be able to demonstrate ownership of production system health, monitoring, and alerting
- Strong grasp of infrastructure components
