About the Company:
Our client is a pioneering technology manufacturer operating in the Defence and Security space. Their products play a critical role in supporting infrastructure and frontline operations around the world. With a collaborative engineering culture and a strong pipeline of new product development, they are seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to help shape the next generation of RF communications equipment.
About the Role:
As Senior RF Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a small and agile team involved in the end-to-end design and development of complex RF systems, including transmitters, receivers, filters, amplifiers, and antennas. You’ll drive new product introduction (NPI), lead design reviews, and support production teams, while helping to mentor junior engineers. The work spans multiple high-impact markets, including military-grade secure data links and electronic warfare.
Responsibilities:
- Work on cutting-edge RF tech used in defence, security, and aviation
- Join a small, dynamic team and influence full product lifecycle
- Work with high-power RF systems, advanced simulation tools, and defence-grade components
Qualifications:
SC clearance or eligibility required
Required Skills:
- Experience in RF design engineering roles
- Design of linear high-power wideband RF amplifiers (e.g. GaN/LDMOS up to 200W)
- Knowledge of RF simulation and PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, AWR, HFSS)
- Design experience with filters, transmitters, receivers, LNA, converters, antennas
- Experience with EMC, test equipment and debugging
- Strong cross-disciplinary communication and problem-solving skills
