Project Architect job available joining a leading architecture, engineering and construction company with a global presence currently looking for passionate architects to work on a new project in their defence sector. This is a remote role; however, you MUST be based in the Peterborough area for site visits. With 14 offices worldwide, their portfolio consists of a wide variety, and they are renowned for their sustainable approach to projects. This role offers the chance to work fully remotely, with a view of travelling to the site when needed, so the candidate would be required to live within a 50-mile radius of Peterborough.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable code requirements.
  • Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
  • Site visits to determine compliance with construction documents; identify any deviations and liaise with the owner and contractor to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work effectively in a team by supporting other team members.
  • Report to directors on the progress and updates of current projects.
