Would you like to work / relocate to an amazing company in Cardiff? We are recruiting for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager / Management Accountant to become part of a renowned high street fashion brand. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, collaborating closely with both the Head and the Finance Director. Your primary responsibilities will include the formulation and enhancement of the company's strategic plan, as well as conducting in-depth analysis and performance reporting across critical business segments such as Ecommerce, the Distribution Centre, retail shops, and Central Control Costs. This position offers a unique chance to influence the financial direction of a dynamic brand while working within a vibrant and creative environment.
Some Key responsibilities:
- Overview of monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics and Central costs
- Production of weekly trading pack
- Production of budgets, forecasts and latest views β accuracy is key due to the impact on cash forecasting
- Production and analysis of E-commerce P&L
- Monthly review meetings with budget holders
- Quarterly store by store review meetings with Regional Managers
- Production of monthly P&L Packs
- Production and analysis of Store P&Lβs
- Provide financial management information to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions
- Challenge and support the commercial management team on matters that have a financial implication β short and long term
About you:
- Strong excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous management experience
- The ability to speak and interact with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business on both financial and non-financial matters.
