Financial Controller Ideal Profile:

  • Part-qualified finance professional, AAT Level 3 or above
  • Experienced in producing financial and management accounts within a growing business environment
  • Comfortable leading on process improvement and system automation
  • Able to mentor, support and develop a small accounts team
  • Effective communicator who can confidently liaise with stakeholders
  • Ambitious, hands-on and motivated by ownership and autonomy

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Leading VAT returns, reconciliations and compliance reporting
