An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join a well-established charity. This is a full-time, permanent role within the Marketing team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, creating impactful content, and raising awareness of the charity’s work. You will play a key role in supporting the charity's mission and objectives through innovative and engaging communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to raise awareness of the charity's work
  • Create and distribute engaging content across digital and print platforms, including website, social media, and newsletters
  • Manage social media channels to engage with supporters, partners, and the wider community
  • Produce marketing materials such as brochures, reports, and promotional content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and highlight the charity’s impact and key messages
  • Support fundraising and event campaigns through targeted marketing and communications activity
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, bloggers, and influencers to support outreach efforts
  • Assist in the development of internal communications, ensuring staff are informed of key developments
  • Ensure the charity's brand identity is consistent across all communications
  • Support crisis communications and contribute to sensitive messaging when necessary
