An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join a well-established charity. This is a full-time, permanent role within the Marketing team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, creating impactful content, and raising awareness of the charity’s work. You will play a key role in supporting the charity's mission and objectives through innovative and engaging communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to raise awareness of the charity's work
- Create and distribute engaging content across digital and print platforms, including website, social media, and newsletters
- Manage social media channels to engage with supporters, partners, and the wider community
- Produce marketing materials such as brochures, reports, and promotional content
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and highlight the charity’s impact and key messages
- Support fundraising and event campaigns through targeted marketing and communications activity
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with media, bloggers, and influencers to support outreach efforts
- Assist in the development of internal communications, ensuring staff are informed of key developments
- Ensure the charity's brand identity is consistent across all communications
- Support crisis communications and contribute to sensitive messaging when necessary

- Proven experience in marketing and communications, in the charity or not-for-profit sector
