A well-established, highly respected design studio in Birmingham is looking for a confident, imaginative Senior Interior Designer (F&B) to join their growing team. If you’re someone who can lead from the front—guiding, inspiring, and elevating both projects and people—this could be your next great move.
We’re after an experienced designer who thrives on creating, refining, and steering innovative hospitality interiors for a loyal portfolio of clients as well as brand-new ventures.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and developing fresh, inspired concepts, strategies, and design guidelines across a range of exciting F&B projects
- Overseeing projects from the first spark of an idea through to final handover
- Collaborating closely with wider creative teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Leading and energising design teams, encouraging best practice and creative excellence
- Running creative brainstorming sessions and workshops
- Stepping confidently into a lead design role when required to meet client needs
- Reviewing and refining project content, presentations, and design proposals
- Mentoring junior team members and helping shape the next generation of design talent
What you’ll bring:
- Strong, proven experience as a senior interior designer, particularly within F&B and hospitality sectors
- Hands-on experience with the full creative lifecycle—concept through to completion—across UK and international markets
- Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD, with solid skills across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- A graduate degree in Interior Design or a closely related field (a relevant postgraduate qualification is a bonus)
- A knockout portfolio showcasing your experience in hospitality and leisure, particularly with innovative, forward-thinking concepts
