We are partnering with an innovative biotech company to appoint a Head of ADC Technology. This leadership role will drive the advancement of the company's next-generation ADC platform, focusing on technical excellence, strategic innovation, and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping future linker and payload strategies while ensuring robust, high-quality processes to support the company’s long-term vision.
Focus is on ADC technology – design, bioconjugation, linker/payload engineering – rather than cell assay or asset development.
- Ideally have medicinal chemistry or biology/pre-clinical background with hands-on industry experience in ADCs.
- Involved in ADC validation, ensuring high-quality, robust processes with future linker/payload strategy in mind.
- Team leadership experience, ideally overseeing Scientists and Senior Scientists.
- Comfortable with project management and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience working with CDMOs for CMC would be valuable.
- Bonus if you’ve had exposure to stakeholder engagement (e.g. board or SAB interactions).
