This is a part-time or full-time on-site Sonographer (Reporting) role located in Aberdeen. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography procedures and preparing detailed reports for patients. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services. The Sonographer will be required to participate during interventional procedures as part of a team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Sonography and/or Radiography Degree
- Experience and qualifications in ultrasound reporting
- HCPC Registration
- Good understanding and experience in RIS and PACS systems
- Knowledge of the application of different imaging procedures and how images are appropriately shared and stored
- Must be able to undertake ultrasound examinations of the following areas: abdomen, pelvis, gynecology, soft tissue, vascular (adults).
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
- Ability to deliver optimum patient care
- Highly motivated and patient driven with excellent communication skills
