The Role
As Financial Restructuring Advisory Director reporting directly to Partners, you will lead the delivery of financial advisory services to businesses facing stress or distress. With clear progression opportunities to Partnership, you'll manage a small team while focusing primarily on advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of financial advisory services including Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), liquidity/working capital reviews, financial modeling, and stakeholder options analysis
- Advise senior decision makers across stakeholder groups (C-suite, banks, PE/investors, regulators)
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 professionals at various levels
- Drive project management for complex engagements
- Contribute to business development initiatives while maintaining focus on delivery excellence
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and provide additional services
Requirements
- 8-10 years' experience in financial restructuring advisory
- Professional qualification (ICAEW/ACCA)
- Proven track record in IBRs, cash flow analysis, and financial restructuring
- Experience advising mid-market, multi-national and complex businesses
- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent client engagement skills
- Genuine passion for team leadership and mentoring
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
Insolvency qualification and/or sector-specific experience is advantageous but not essential.
