Interim Opportunity | Custody Legal Counsel | Global Financial Institution

Location: London or Belfast (Hybrid) | Duration: 10-Month Contract | Start: ASAP

A leading global financial institution is looking for an experienced Custody Legal Counsel to join their Investor Services Legal team on a 10-month interim basis.

The role:

  • You will support custody services across EMEA, advising on high-value client negotiations, regulatory change, product development, and global legal initiatives.
  • You will be working closely with stakeholders across legal, risk, product, and client coverage teams.

Key areas:

  • Custody & safekeeping legal expertise
  • EMEA regulatory frameworks
  • Drafting, negotiation, and client advisory
  • Global project collaboration
  • Exposure to platinum-tier client relationships

You:

  • 7–10 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Background in financial services or advising institutional clients
  • Custody experience preferred
