Salter Grange is working with a leading Engineering Contractor who is currently recruiting a Mechanical QA Manager to join a specialist Engineering Contractor on a high-profile, major Data Centre Development in Belgium. The successful Mechanical QA Manager will be joining a new division on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre Project for a blue-chip client and be part of a highly regarded company known for its strong Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities and smooth Project Delivery.
Ideally, the successful Mechanical QA Manager will have experience in a similar role, be Mechanical trade or degree qualified, and have a proven track record in the Data Centre industry.
Mechanical QA Manager Responsibilities:- Act as the QA owner for the assigned turnover scope, from construction completion to handover.
- Oversee snagging during both scheduled walkdowns and observations.
- Participate in the Quality Surveillance Program.
- Compile turnover packs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of installations.
- Evaluate installations to guarantee a snag-free client walkdown.
- Implement and sign off on the First of a Kind process.
- Manage document control for construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Mechanical trade qualified or degree qualified.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems.
