Vital Power is looking for a Regional Service Engineer to join our growing team in the South of England. As a Regional Service Engineer, you will have an integral role within the service team, assisting in the delivery of the business's on-site activities.
- Cover all aspects of generator servicing including oil and filter changes and oil, fuel, and coolant sampling.
- Conduct load bank testing on customer-owned generator units.
- Accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Work on a broad range of generator/engine brands including Cummins, Perkins, Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, and Dorman.
- Complete all types of engine repairs (both mechanical and electrical).
- Assist with mechanical engine rebuilds / top-end overhauls.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of both mechanical and electrical skill sets.
Previous experience in similar generator services companies or within the power generation industry is required. A valid CSCS/ECS card is necessary, along with a willingness to undertake further training as required for professional development.

A competitive salary is offered, along with a twice per annum Profit Related Pay scheme that ties bonus amounts to the amount of profit made by the business. Pension scheme after 3 months of service. All employees receive 25 days leave (or equivalent pro-rata) per annum and additional bank holiday days. Eligibility to join Vitality, Private Healthcare Scheme, and BHSF Healthcare Cash Plan at 6 months of service. Investment in professional development and training to support you in your role.
