The Role
As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead/Senior Developer, you will work closely with clients to understand their business and their existing technologies. In this role, you will use your knowledge of React JS, web applications and integration to build and design a complete solution for the integration, extension or enhancement of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (PWA/MRT) platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Documenting the design process with a technical specification and diagrams that will stand as the reference to the development team for building the solution.
- Hand-off to our support team prior to launch and update these throughout the development cycle as things change.
- Serve as the PWA/MRT, Commerce Cloud B2C Technical Lead/Senior Developer and share knowledge with the team while mentoring newer developers.
- Stay abreast of web technologies and share new ideas and techniques that are relevant to the eCommerce space.
- Participate in internal process improvements to our software development life cycle.
- Perform design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions.
- Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions.
- Impact assessment of high priority/critical enhancement requests and track solution delivery end to end.
- Learn new technology PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C via self-learning.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, React.js, Redux, Bootstrap, Graph QL, NPM, Formik, Micro frontends, Next.js, JavaScript, Typescript.
- Experience with real-time enterprise-grade website development within a large delivery project/team using React.js (Next.js), Node.js (Express.js), Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA, SCAPI, SLAS), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Media Query.
- Previous work experience with state management frameworks (Redux, etc.).
- Experience in building and deploying with serverless frameworks.
- Strong understanding of code quality, security and performance considerations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Awareness of Progressive Web Application (PWA/Composable) website development.
- Previous work experience with integrating 3rd party applications using RESTful services.
- Strong knowledge of payment gateway integrations.
- Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SonarQube, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Terraform.
