Class 2 / 7.5T Driver

Driver Support Services Opportunity

Driver Support Services has an opportunity for Class 2 and 7.5t work with our client in Poole during their peak period. The client is a major parcel delivery network.

The work is temporary and ongoing.

Requirements:

• Must be fully flexible, as shifts include days and nights, weekdays and weekends, with trunking work involving cages.
• Flexibility with start times and days will increase the number of shifts available.
• Minimum 2 years\’ experience in Class 2 or 7.5t vehicles, with recent digi card history.
• Infringements: No more than 10 overall in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers\’ hours, will disqualify assessment.
• No more than 3 points for speeding convictions.

An assessment will be arranged, and a DBS check will be conducted.

Shifts will be communicated via an online platform called Joined Up.

The majority of shifts are likely to be 7.5t work.

The work involves trunking between depots with cages, which will need unloading (and loading occasionally).

Pay rates:

• Umbrella 7.5T: GBP 19/hr days, GBP 21/hr nights
• Umbrella Class 2: GBP 22/hr days, GBP 25/hr nights
