This role is based at a small to medium sized company with almost 200 on site within a first class engineering team. Their products are manufactured on site at their facility based in Segensworth near to Fareham, Hampshire. They will pay a competitive salary, offer you 5 weeks holiday, 12.30pm finish on Fridays, Health Cash Plan, Contributory Pension Scheme up to 11%, free gym equipment on site, free parking and big discounts on shopping at major supermarkets such as Sainsburys/ASDA etc.
The Role: You’ll be involved in all aspects of product design including New Product Introduction and support for existing products. Joining a team of talented and multi-skilled engineers you will be responsible for designing and validating products for the Aerospace industry amongst others. You will analyse customer requirements, prepare 3D models, drawings and supporting technical documentation for manufacture and as a source of technical knowledge, you will provide that specialist support to internal and external teams. The company designs and manufactures complex mechanical products that are machined, fabricated, assembled and tested on site and you will play a vital part in this. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in the designs provided that serve a heavily regulated aerospace industry where products are qualified to ensure compliance to such industry regulations and standards.

What do I need?
- A form of relating mechanical engineering certification, relating apprenticeship, HNC, HND or degree
- Experience in industry already
- Good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM)
- 3D CAD experience
- Proven problem solving skills
- Great dynamic communication skills to interact well with the associated functional between the departments and facilities
- Current eligibility to work in the UK and commute to Segensworth readily
