Our client takes EBD Referrals and the YPs are 6 to 17 on Admission., They specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.

What you will be expected to do:

Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers
-
To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
-
To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day
-
To provide reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the young person, using our paperless systems and tools
-
To review the young people’s care plans and other associated documentation
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care is desirable
Experience: A t least 1 years’ experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years, * To provide positive parenting

To have exceptional communication skills

To have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g., Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards)

To be open-minded, empathetic in a calm and professional manner
Essential Requirements:

Must have a full manual driving licence

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

Be willing to participate in further continuing professional development to support the needs of our young people

To have a clear passion and desire to support children and young people

To be an active member of the team and be committed to working in unison
