Barnardo's Kickstart Futures Service provides floating support for Care Leavers in Sutton. In partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, the service supports Young People with low to medium levels of support needs across various properties within the borough and some in neighbouring areas. This includes Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People (UASYP) and survivors of Human Trafficking, who are over the age of 18.
The service delivers key work support on an individual basis and additional group work sessions for property residents. Key work sessions are scheduled collaboratively with the Young Person and are delivered flexibly, including regular evenings and weekends, to accommodate their education, employment, or training commitments.
We are seeking to recruit new project workers with experience working with Care Leavers to help grow this exciting new service. Applications for part-time workers are welcome.
