Road Marking Operative\\n\\nBenton, Newcastle\\n\\n7am – 3pm Monday to Friday\\n\\n£13 per hour (Rising to £15 per hour after 12 weeks)\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nAs a Road Marking Operative, you will assist in applying line markings at a variety of locations including:\\n\\n * Roads and highways\\n\\n * Car parks\\n\\n * Warehouses\\n\\n * School playgrounds\\n\\n * Sports pitches\\n\\nMust be flexible to work away, every 2 weeks for 1 or 2 days.\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n\\n * Full on-the-job training\\n\\n * A supportive, team-oriented work environment\\n\\n * Opportunities for career progression\\n\\n * Temporary position with a clear route to a permanent role for the right candidate\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nWe’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. You’ll need:\\n\\n * A full, clean UK driving licence and your own reliable transport to and from our yard in Benton.\\n\\n * Literacy and numeracy skills to follow written instructions, read site drawings, and set out markings accurately.\\n\\n * A hard-working, reliable and positive attitude.\\n\\n * Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasionally away from home.\\n\\n * Due to security requirements of some of our customers (schools, hospitals etc) applicants must agree to, and pass, a DBS and security vetting process.\\n\\nPreferred but not essential:\\n\\n * Valid CSCS card\\n\\n * Previous experience in road marking or a related construction field\\n\\nPlease apply with your CV via the apply button
