We are seeking a Medical Information Manager to provide accurate, unbiased, and timely medical information responses to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals regarding pharmaceutical products. This is a hands-on, writing-focused role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to unsolicited medical and clinical inquiries with balanced and compliant information.
  • Create, update, and maintain scientific response documents for global and regional products.
  • Provide specialist product knowledge to various business functions including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, Quality, Supply, Market Access, and Brand teams.
  • Support copy approvals, job bag management, and related administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external medical information partners to deliver high-quality second-line medical information services.
  • Receive, document, and respond to medical information requests escalated by service providers.
  • Monitor current medical literature and competitor information to ensure response documents remain relevant and accurate.
  • Analyse inquiry trends and communicate insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to interdepartmental projects and provide medical, scientific, and technical information as needed.
  • Maintain content repositories, intranet pages, and tracking systems.
  • Support implementation of new systems and guidelines within Medical Information.
  • Review promotional and non-promotional materials for medical accuracy and compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy
  • 4-6 years of Medical Information experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to European markets.
  • Strong medical writing skills, including scientific response creation and critical appraisal of literature.
  • Good knowledge of medical information standards and relevant industry codes and regulations.
  • Experience with medical information databases and content management systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance and medical review of promotional materials is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with adaptability to changing priorities.
