Financial Controller | Sittingbourne (1 day wfh) | £60k – £70k

The Role:

• As the Financial Controller, you’ll take the helm of financial strategy, planning, and control.
• You'll lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, working closely with senior leadership to shape key decisions.
• This is a hands-on role with room to grow, ideal for someone who’s ready to make an impact.
• Due to this being a newly created role, you will be tasked with coordinating with an Accountancy Practice to bring all management accounts in-house, further collaboration will then be required.

Profile:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). An Audit-trained Practice background could be useful, happy to consider First or Second Movers.
• Has strong experience in financial reporting and control.
• Brings a commercial mindset to financial strategy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Is tech-savvy and comfortable with modern finance systems.
• Confident communicator, comfortable with influencing at senior levels.
• Has the ability to manipulate, assess and draw conclusions from a variety of data sets.
